Fluggesellschaften haben meist strenge Größen- und Gewichtsvorgaben für Ihr Handgepäck. Damit sie vor dem Flug keine Schwierigkeiten wegen Ihres Gepäcks bekommen, haben wir im Folgenden eine Zusammenfassung der Vorgaben einiger Airlines in Bezug auf die Handgepäcksgröße erstellt:

Die Werte beziehen sich auf die Gepäcksbestimmungen für den Economy Tarif der Airlines. Andere Tarife wie Business- oder first class können andere Vorgaben haben.
* Wenn keine Gewichtsbeschränkung für das Handgepäck definiert worden ist, gilt im Allgemeinen die Regel: das Gepäckstück muss ohne fremde Hilfe in den Gepäckfächern über den Sitzen untergebracht werden können
