Our 2019 annual review
It's the end of December, and 2019 is drawing to a close. It's been a year full of ups and downs. The myBagFactory team has changed and grown, we've designed many new products, and expanded our product range.
To reflect on 2019 and get ready for 2020, we want to take a look at some of our favorite new products from the past year in this blog.
Canvas combined with leather and a new vegan brand
The term "canvas" is originally from English and refers to the fabric from which sailcloth was once made. Canvas is a particularly robust and tear-resistant material, usually woven from thick cotton or natural yarns. The additional use of polyester and a waterproofing treatment makes the fabric a highly durable and waterproof material for tents, clothing, and backpacks. Therefore, we have expanded our product range this year with this fabric, using it for our HANNE backpacks by FEYNSINN , for example. The canvas backpack, which we offer in various colors, is combined with high-quality cowhide leather.
With our new brand, Sons of Aloha, inspired by surf trips to Hawaii, we completely forgo leather. The KANE rolling suitcase is our first product from an exclusively vegan brand. Thanks to its 210D polyester construction, this material is still durable and water-repellent. So, with our KANE travel bag, you can explore the world and it will be a loyal, robust companion for all types of travel.
New colors for SID&VAIN
SID&VAIN, on the other hand, has remained true to its line this year. SID&VAIN's bags, backpacks, accessories, and, most recently, shoes are all made from our high-quality leathers. However, there was one new addition in 2019. In addition to the many products in natural leather colors, a few more colorful models have been added this year. For example, our favorite SPENCER business bag and the beautiful JASON wallets are available in blue and green. A real eye-catcher! And if the products are too colorful for you, both models are also available in natural brown.
We've also expanded our popular SID&VAIN buffalo leather products with two new colors. The CHAD travel bag and the CHAZ buffalo leather backpack are now also available in a darker brown and a sophisticated black.
Great genuine leather shoes
This was unprecedented at myBagFactory. In 2019, shoes also crept into our range for the first time. With the special black sandals from FEYNSINN, our designer Nik Strauss ventured into footwear for the first time. And now, six months later, we offer not only sandals, but also the fantastic JAZZ Chelsea boots from SID&VAIN. In addition, we now even have genuine leather riding boots, which will delight all horse lovers with their beautiful design and high-quality craftsmanship.

To round off the successful myBagFactory year, we have another special highlight.
