When caring for leather bags, factors such as shine are less important. The aim here is to protect the bag from abrasion, dirt, discoloration and fading due to UV radiation in order to preserve the product's appearance. With the right care, even brittle or dry leather can regain its suppleness. Anyone who owns one of our leather bags will have a faithful companion by their side for many years. To ensure that it doesn't look like it's been around for years and wind and weather are no longer an issue, the bag needs a dose of care every now and then. Care of our smooth leather bags
- Leather Cream: Our Leather Cream is a creamy wax that can be used on various smooth leathers. The Leather Cream gives leather products a water-repellent coating and offers long-lasting protection against moisture and dirt. It restores suppleness to brittle leather and, with a light polish, even restores a natural shine. The wax is easy to apply by hand or with a cloth.
- Leather Conditioner : A rich conditioner, this care product is essential for repairing untreated, damaged, or worn leather. The conditioner absorbs quickly and penetrates deep into the leather. It nourishes the leather and keeps it soft and supple. The conditioner also acts as a waterproofing agent, making the leather excellently resistant to changeable weather. The conditioner's primary effect is to create a water- and dirt-repellent coating.

Leather Cleaner: For optimal results, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the leather before treating it with a greasy care product. We recommend our pH-balancing cleaner, which is specially formulated to remove stubborn dirt, surface stains, and other impurities. Once all surface contaminants have been scrubbed from the epidermal layers and the leather is dry, the conditioner can be safely applied. Whether it's ballpoint pen ink, discoloration, or grease stains, the cleaner is a good place to start.
Care of our suede bags
Suede bags are somewhat more sensitive, especially when it comes to moisture and protection. To care for suede handbags , we recommend a special leather brush, which can be used to clean and refresh the leather. The brush has two sides: the wire brush can be used to remove coarse dirt from the leather. The rubber side is ideal for gently cleaning the leather. If stains remain, the stain can be treated with a special suede sponge, which acts like an eraser.
To prevent unexpected weather changes, it's very important to waterproof suede. There are special nano-based sprays available for this purpose, which can achieve even waterproofing.
Care of our canvas and fabric bags
- Canvas Wax: The main purpose of canvas wax is to create a water- and dirt-repellent coating. It serves as an excellent waterproofing agent and guarantees long-lasting protection against moisture and moisture. This wax is made from natural ingredients such as beeswax and a blend of various plant oils. The care product can be used on treated and untreated materials such as canvas and various fabrics. For optimal results, the wax is applied to the surface using circular motions.
- Canvas Cleaner: This cleaner was specially developed to remove stubborn dirt, surface stains, and other contaminants from canvas and fabrics. Before treating the leather with Canvas Wax, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the product with this cleaner first. This will ensure optimal results.
SOS tips
If the bag is an old heirloom and the leather is already brittle, that's no reason to part with it. Even the most serious breaks or scratches can be treated with so-called liquid leather. Use with caution and avoid soaking the leather. If there is discoloration, a leather freshener is the best choice. Afterward, the leather should be sealed and regularly cared for. If a bag, whether made of smooth leather or suede, is extremely dirty, there are special leather detergents that you can use to handwash or machine wash the bag. It's important to let it dry thoroughly and then treat the bag to re-fat it. Color damage to your dark leather bag? Leather fresheners even out the color without transferring to your clothing, refreshing the original color even after abrasion or scuffs—and re-sealing the surface. Aniline cream, on the other hand, prevents water or oil stains in advance—and is also suitable for open natural leathers that are prone to staining from moisture. High-gloss and patent leather are a problem: Every scratch is immediately visible. There's no rule without an exception – household furniture polish (without solvents, please!) can be used with the blessing of reputable leather manufacturers – but test it on a hidden area first. You can apply a high-gloss sealant to existing scratches, let it dry, and polish it out – this will even out minor abrasions. However, we generally don't recommend home remedies. It's better to play it safe and use professional care products.
