How sustainable is Sons of Aloha?
The more we consume, the more we damage our livelihoods. Crucial raw materials are becoming scarcer, toxins from waste are entering the environment, and forests are being lost as carbon sinks. The only solution is to change the way we consume.
We've found alternative ways to minimize our emissions, such as shorter transport routes, alternative transportation methods, and waste avoidance. Because we ship directly from the factory, we reduce many unnecessary journeys. Our products are largely transported by rail or sea freight, which is significantly cheaper and leaves a smaller carbon footprint.
With our brand Sons of Aloha, we want to encourage people all over the world to use valuable resources more consciously and avoid waste. You can avoid waste by giving things like single-use plastic, plastic bottles, and plastic packaging a second chance and thus a longer life. We only use organic or recycled materials for our products. With every bag sold from our KANE product range, we collect 2.5 kg of plastic from the ocean. This marine plastic would otherwise have further polluted the oceans and affected the lives of many marine animals. We return materials into the economic cycle that would otherwise have ended up in the trash. Our goal is to create high-quality products from recycled or organic materials with every single bag. In this way, we are not only contributing to cleaning up our planet, but thanks to our sophisticated process, we are also giving resources a well-deserved second chance.

Our KANE rolltop backpack and KANE toploader backpack made from recycled nylon and PET are ideal companions for anyone exploring the world or actively traveling. Both models feature a water-repellent eco-coating and waterproof zippers. Whether for outdoor adventures, travel, or sports – the daypack and toploader offer versatile storage space. They feature a padded laptop compartment (up to 15.4"), two side pockets for water bottles, and a breathable back panel for comfortable carrying. The rolltop features a Trolleyfix for secure attachment to luggage. The toploader is currently available in green, and the rolltop in olive green and ocean blue.

Our KANE body bag, made of water-repellent and recycled PET material, is small and elegant, so you can take it anywhere. Yet the hip bag still has plenty of room for your smartphone, wallet, keys, and an inside pocket for your phone. It's ideal for travel, everyday wear, and short hikes. Depending on your individual preference, the body bag can be worn looser or tighter. The adjustable strap lets you find the perfect length. The hip bag is available in olive green or ocean blue.

The duffle trolley is a great alternative to traditional suitcases and carry-on luggage, impressing with its compact dimensions that still offer plenty of room for luggage. A travel bag with wheels is ideal for those who don't want to miss out on a sporty touch while traveling, but still appreciate a comfortable piece of luggage. The travel bag features five compartments for organized storage, a two-stage extendable telescopic handle, and two smooth-running wheels. The duffle trolley is available in olive green.
