Sons of Aloha is the name of the new brand in the myBagFactory world. All products are made from recycled materials, are sustainable, and vegan. With this brand, we're fulfilling a dream, as we've set ourselves the goal of creating products for a sustainable and active lifestyle.

This is Sons of Aloha

The topic of climate change has long concerned us, the entire myBagFactory team, and we therefore wanted to develop a concept to make our products even more sustainable. With Sons of Aloha, we are now moving with the times and, in addition to our bags made from sustainable leather, have created another product line that is even more sustainable and completely leather-free, i.e., vegan. The products are perfect for an active lifestyle. Sons of Aloha is for people who enjoy being outdoors and love being active. As passionate surfers and snowboarders, we share a love of the great outdoors. That's why we chose Aloha, the Hawaiian greeting, as our name. Aloha is meant to remind us every day to integrate the Spirit of Hawaii into our lives. Aloha stands for a harmonious life in connection with people, animals, and, above all, nature. Aloha is not just "hello," but the power that embodies life itself. For us, it means:

We know that it takes many small steps to achieve a big change.

But we also know that we can actively do something to bring about change, and that's why Sons of Aloha exists now to make the world a little better...

The material

But how does one even protect the environment with new products? Recycling is the key. The threat of ever-dwindling resources and the pollution of the world's oceans have encouraged us to use recyclable materials instead of new ones. The oceans, in particular, are plagued by enormous plastic pollution, which poses a major problem not only for marine life but also for humanity. Some of this plastic enters the sea through rivers, beaches, or fishing. This is where we see our opportunity for change. This so-called ocean-bound plastic is collected, cleaned, sorted, and cut into small pieces by a group of small coastal organizations. The small pieces are then processed into pellets, which are then melted down. Once melted, the material can be spun into high-quality yarn. This yarn is then sent to our local seamstresses, who weave it into our material (a mix of recycled plastic, nylon, and polyester) and then coat it with a PVC-free impregnation. This ensures that the bag is water-repellent and durable. So, even if it's not obvious at first glance, every Sons of Aloha product is unique. It has its own story to tell and has already traveled a long way from its original use across the ocean to becoming a beautiful new Sons of Aloha product.

Whether you're traveling the world or tackling everyday work and leisure adventures, this water-repellent backpack won't let you down! In addition to its incredible storage space, its efficient padding offers protection for your laptop and your back. So you can explore the world with it, it also features a trolley attachment on the back, side pockets for drinks, and, of course, breathable padding for a comfortable fit.

Bicycle bag KANE

Are you always on the move, and no journey is too far for you on your bike? Our sustainable bike bag was created for all bike enthusiasts and environmentalists. The bag features integrated click technology that allows it to be easily attached to your luggage rack. Not only that, but in just a few simple steps, it can also be quickly transformed from a bike bag into a practical shoulder bag with a padded shoulder strap. With a padded laptop compartment and reflective logos, the bag also offers dual protection, making it an indispensable companion for cycling.

The KANE Duffle Bag, made of sustainable polyester, is designed for all globetrotters and travel junkies. Lighter and at least as practical as a regular suitcase , the sustainable KANE travel bag is an excellent alternative to other luggage and will faithfully accompany you on your travels.

Last but not least, for all the indecisive and all-rounders among us, we've created the sustainable 2-in-1 backpack and trolley. This practical 2-in-1 hybrid board trolley made of recycled and water-repellent nylon is simply adorable. One moment it's a beautiful backpack, the next it transforms into a carry-on suitcase with smooth-running wheels and a two-stage telescopic handle. The adjustable and padded shoulder straps are then housed in a nearly invisible zippered pocket on the back of the suitcase and are attached to the outside with sturdy snap hooks. Like all other Sons of Aloha favorites, the KANE also offers plenty of storage space and protection for your luggage, which can be safely stowed inside the backpack/suitcase thanks to the dividers and luggage straps.
